Orange County Choppers at Sturgis 2004

I just returned from the Bike Rally at Sturgis South Dakota.  While OCC isn't my favorite of the big builders who can resist a little picture or autograph here or there.  Well when you see the line one would wait in to get an autograph you'll understand why there isn't one here.  Actually I was really disappointed because even if you just wanted a picture of the guys you couldn't get one without waiting in line.  As you'll see below they used a black canopy to completely cover the autograph signers, you couldn't even see their bikes unless you wanted to wait in a massive line.  The line in the picture starts on the left and you can see the black cover on the right.  Nothing like being out with the people.  Despite that I managed to get a few photos of the POW/MIA Bike, The Snap-on Tool Bike and the Dixie Chopper bike.  Those I got at their respective booths, not an OCC booth.  My favorite picture is of Mikey and Vinnie riding scooters through Glencoe Campground.  I was just sitting on Titty alley one night and they came flying through.  Glad I had my camera as that's as close as I got to any OCC guys.  Russ Mitchell of Exile Choppers was much different.  I was able to walk right up, shake his hand and get an autograph on my shirt no line or charge.  Just goes to show who the humble ones are today.  Anyway enjoy the pictures you see below.  I also turned these into Orange County Choppers Wallpaper

Orange County Choppers POW / MIA Bike Sturgis 2004

The one bike I could see without waiting in line was the POW / MIA Chopper.  It was right next to the end fence so you could reach a camera over and snap the shot.  Pictures are featured below.
